About me
I am a research engineer in the IESL Lab working under the guidance of Professor Andrew McCallum.
I completed my masters in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Spring 2019.
I wish to work towards alleviating current limitations of deep learning models such as few-shot learning, domain shift, learning in structured settings and bridge the gap between current deep learning theory and practice.
I am also interested in representating learning useful across a wide-suite of application in NLP, vision etc. I am also interested in transfer learning, meta learning, continual learning.
Prior to my masters, I worked for two years as a Software Engineer at Media.net working on building recommendation engine for advertisements.
